“Strange Happenings in Jerusalem” – an Easter lesson that presents the three-hour darkness that covered the land at noon while Jesus was on the cross; the tearing of the temple curtain that separated the Holy Place from the Most Holy Place; and the empty tomb. Teach this lesson to children and help them understand that Jesus paid the penalty for our sins. In doing so, He prepared a way for all people to come to God.
